Mental Health Services and Supports

Man pulling the curtain up to a brighter world.

Taking care of mental health is essential for schools and families as they work together to provide students with stable and supportive learning environments. GISD's Center for Countywide Programs coordinates staff and services that expand the availability of mental health support to K-12 students.

Mental health support is available in each Genesee County school building. If you need support, please reach out to your principal or school counselor.

If you are in need of immediate support or are in a crisis, please contact Genesee Health System by calling (810) 257-3740 to speak to a licensed mental health professional. You can also text FLINT to 741741. Support is available 24-hours a day.
